Seattle Engagement Session: Courtney + Connor

Here in Seattle, we are starting to get used to some amount of smoke permeating the city each summer. Whether its blowing in from fires in California or British Columbia, it loves to stop over in the Puget Sound and say hello for a few days or weeks. It always makes breathing and going outside a chore, and I’m definitely looking forward to someday having clear skies all year. But I will miss one thing about the smoke: the amazing pink SKIES!

After postponing a few times due to smoke, we were finally able to get out to Discovery Park in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle for some engagement photos with Connor and Courtney’s darling golden retriever, Harley! How incredible is that peachy pink sunset? One of my favorite things about living in Seattle is that this big, beautiful park (534 acres!!) is only 15 minutes from my house. It features amazing views of the Puget Sound, and on clear days, the Olympic mountain range can be seen across the water! It also has dense forests, gorgeous beaches, and tall grassy fields. If you’re looking for an engagement session location that just screams Pacific Northwest, but don’t want to have to trek too far from home, Discovery Park is the perfect spot!
