Gold Creek Pond Wedding: Alicia + Kevin

If you’ve spent any time in western Washington in September, you know the weather can be a gamble. For Alicia and Kevin’s wedding at Gold Creek Pond in Snoqualmie, WA, we didn’t know what we were going to be dealing with. It was raining cats and dogs the whole morning, so we decided to just go with the flow and see what happened. Believe it or not, the second Alicia stepped outside for their first look, the rain started drifting away. By the time we arrived at the pond, where their friends and family were waiting, the rain completely stopped. Immediately after their recessional back down the aisle, it started POURING again. But the rain wasn’t about to keep us down! We simply used umbrellas for all of their family photos, and once those were through, licensed sign, and cake cut, Kevin and Alicia embraced the rain, along with their two darling dogs. The popped champagne and toasted to each other, the perfect ending to a romantic day.
