North Bend Engagement Session: Jadon + Brittney

Brittney and Jadon’s session in the foothills of the Cascades was as fashionable as it was foggy. I loved both of their outfits so much- if you’re looking for inspiration, take notes! Brittney’s green dress perfectly complemented our natural environment, and Jadons waffle knit tee + jeans were relaxed and effortless. For their second outfit, they stuck to flattering neutrals, and added fun accessories like Brittney’s hat!

When I pulled into North Bend that morning, super early to beat the normal crowds at this popular lake, I was so excited to see all the fog! Fog is one of my favorite types of weather to work in, because the water particles in the air actually reflect light. This gives us some of the most even, glowy light to work with at our session - everyone looks good in the diffused glow of fog! Many people like this location because of its proximity to the Cascades as it is located in Snoqualmie National Forest, but in my opinion, the intimate feeling and negative space fog creates is just as good as any mountain view!
