Sterling House Wedding: Kevin + Rachel

Here’s something about manifestation: in July 2018 I saw these two from afar as guests at Jordan and Matt’s wedding. I told myself I WILL!! SHOOT. THEIR WEDDING. They weren’t even engaged yet but sometimes you just know :) fast forward 2 years later, here we are! Kevin and Rachel planned a downright stunning day at the Sterling House in Sacramento. This boutique hotel is just darling with its little details and vintage charm. When we saw the weather report, I knew we were in for some windy, rainy romance. These two never let a drop of rain drown their excitement throughout the day.

One thing I have to say about this wedding: MOMENTS. I felt like every time I turned around, another sweet moment was happening. Cute great uncles giving hugs, adorable babies being sleepy, and so much love between Kevin and Rachel. Rachel was so gorgeous and joyful including both her mother figures in her getting ready process, and the sentimentality was palpable. Combined with sweet first looks with both her dad and Kevin, the tears were a’florin! And another amazing best speech from Kevin’s brother Eric! If you need a toastmaster class, this guy may be your ticket.
