Ballard Family Session: The Russ Family

As a photographer based in Seattle, I’ve the privilege of capturing precious moments for Seattle families. Today, I'm excited to share the story of the Russ family's summer photo session at the Ballard Locks. After working with them in Magnolia in 2021, it was a delight to reconnect and document their growing family in the summer beauty of 2022.

Located in the heart of Ballard, the Ballard Locks provided a sweet setting for our photo session. We had the park almost entirely to ourselves as we were there on a day with intermittent rain. As you can see, we dodged most of the showers and had some amazing life.

Adjacent to the locks, we ventured into the Ballard Locks Park, a darling little park that complemented the family's session. Amidst the green spaces and blooming flowers, the Russ family embraced the outdoors, creating genuine moments of connection. The kiddos had fun in the open spaces, while the and even mom and dad joined in the laughter and playfulness.

The Russ family's summer photo session at the Ballard Locks, Seattle, was a celebration of their love, connection, and the natural beauty of our surroundings. From our initial session in Magnolia to this memorable experience at the Ballard Locks, the Russ family's story continues to grow, and I can’t wait to see where the next session takes us!
